Sandbach Transport Festival this year is to held over two days. Truck Town Sandbach previous home of Foden Trucks and ERF Trucks once again hosts a great free family day out. We are very much looking forward to this year’s event, more information will follow shortly.
On Friday 16th April 2010 we can also boast the British Open Champions brass band, Foden’s, will be holding a concert at Sandbach Boys School. We are also very honoured to have Foden’s Band leading the parade on the Sunday.
Saturday 17th April 2010 is a Carnival and Steam Rally with lots of entertainment and action packed fun with New Arrivals for 2010. This year we welcome back Horses and Steam Engines. The parade will be led by the Cheshire Police Drum Corps. Welcoming Motor Bike Stunt Shows by Dave Coates, A Circus in the Park, Punch & Judy Show, Donkey Rides, Monkey March for under 5’s helping Caudwell Children, Truck Pull, along with all the normal entertainment such as Clowns, Art Exhibition in the Masonic Hall, Live Bands, Dance Troupes, Fairground Rides, Charity Stalls, Morris Dancers, lots of Transport and more to come.
Sunday 18th April 2010 is the vintage and new vehicle parade incorporating a huge variety of old and new vehicles. There will be the usual Hog Roast, Art Exhibition, Northwest Town Criers Competition, fairground rides, charity stalls, live music, marching bands and a whole host of other fun things for a great FREE family day out.
