Entertainment - 19th April 2009

Sunday 19th April 2009 is the vintage and new vehicle parade incorporating a huge variety of old and new vehicles. Our Celebrity Guest this year is Former Irish Heavyweight Boxing Champion Big Joe Egan (Mike Tyson’s sparring partner and the toughest white man on the planet). Joe has also landed a part in film director Guy Ritchie’s latest movie, Sherlock Holmes, due for release in October. There will be the usual Hog Roast, Art Exhibition, Northwest Town Criers Competition, fairground rides, charity stalls, live music, marching bands and a whole host of other fun things for a great FREE family day out.

Archery in the Park. It is planned that there will be Balloon Shooting and Archer Darts. There will also be a ‘Have a Go’ archery stall between 1000 and 1600.
